Join a world in a few clicks

Open the original Tweetcraft game, choose Multiplayer, select a world and press Join Server. If a friend has sent you a world link, open that exact link to join their world.

The Play button on this guide site opens the original game in a separate window or tab. Keep this page beside it when you need controls, recipes or help. Gameplay and world progress stay on the original game’s website.

  1. Wait for the title screen and choose Multiplayer.
  2. Search by world name or the host’s @handle, or browse the server list.
  3. Read the mode and building rules before joining.
  4. Select the world, then choose Join Server.
  5. Click inside the game, or use the on-screen controls on a phone.

Choose a mode for your first session

Creative is the easiest place to learn movement and build: it has unlimited resources, free flight and instant block breaking. Look for a world that lets you build. Survival adds resource gathering and crafting at Normal difficulty. Hardcore uses Hard difficulty and gives each X-linked account one life; guests spectate.

For a first session, our recommendation is Creative for experimenting with blocks, or Survival for a resource-gathering challenge. Learn the camera and inventory before choosing Hardcore. See the mode comparison for the account and building differences.

Move, look and open your inventory

On a keyboard, use WASD to move and Space to jump. Click inside the world to give the game focus. When the pointer is captured, moving the mouse turns the camera; if it remains free, click and drag to look around.

E opens inventory. The number keys 1–9 or mouse wheel select a hotbar slot. Left mouse attacks or mines; right mouse places or uses the selected item. Press T or Enter to open chat. On a phone, use the movement stick and drag the game view to look.

The complete controls guide covers flying, touch buttons, item dropping and camera views.

In Survival, leave protected spawn first

If the game says spawn is protected, mining and building are disabled in that area. Choose Go exploring, or open chat and send /wild, to find a safe spot outside spawn. Walking out of the protected area also works.

Once outside, start with logs, planks, sticks and a crafting table. A wooden pickaxe gets you cobblestone for stone tools. The Survival starter guide includes the exact early recipes and a checklist you can follow beside the game.

Understand guest play and account linking

Open worlds can be entered as a guest, but the host’s rules still apply. A Creative world may allow everyone to build, only X-linked players, or only its owner. Guests in Hardcore watch as spectators.

The original game has a Save your progress action. It opens the game’s X-post account-linking flow. Publishing a new world also asks its creator to post on X and submit the post’s link. Follow those steps inside the original game; this guide site does not collect game logins or store game progress.

Keep the world link so you can find the same place again. For hosting and invitations, read multiplayer and worlds.

If your first session gets stuck

A WebGL 2 message points to browser or device graphics support. A full or unresponsive world is a different problem: use the game’s retry option or try another world from Multiplayer. If you can move but cannot build, check spawn protection, mode and host permissions before changing browser settings.

Work through the symptom-based troubleshooting guide to choose the right next step.
