Use the same world link to play together
Tweetcraft’s shared-world model starts with a link: people who open the same world link join that world. Ask your friend for the link to their world, rather than opening the game homepage and choosing a different server.
A world link uses the original game’s domain, for example tweetcraft.jai.vin/r/…. Keep the full link your host provides. World names help you browse, but the link is the clearest way to return to the intended world.
You can also use the host’s shared X post as the entry point. The original game handles the session; this companion website does not run its own Tweetcraft servers.
Find a world in Multiplayer
Choose Multiplayer from the title screen. The search box accepts world names and @host handles. Select a result and press Join Server; a second click on the selected row also joins it.
- Most players helps you find an active session.
- Recently active sorts by recent world activity.
- Newest puts newer worlds first.
- Most built sorts by blocks built.
The Show control can narrow the list to worlds with players, worlds open to building, or your own worlds. Read the mode badge and building rule before joining. Player numbers change live, so use the current game list when deciding where to play.
If the list fails to load, choose Refresh. If a particular world is full or unresponsive, return to the list and choose another while you wait.
Create and publish your own world
- From the original game’s title screen, choose Create New World.
- Enter a name and choose Creative, Survival or Hardcore.
- For Creative, choose who is allowed to build.
- Choose Create New World and let the terrain load.
- Follow the Publish your world panel: post the world on X, then paste your post’s link back into the game and complete the account check.
- Once the game opens the world, share its link with your friends.
Creating the terrain and publishing the server are separate steps. A new world may remain waiting for its creator until the X-post step is completed. If you open a friend’s pending world, ask the creator to finish that flow.
Posting is a public action on your X account. Review the post in X before you send it. This guide does not publish posts or handle that account flow for you.
Choose who can build in Creative
| Host setting | Who can change blocks | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Anyone | Everyone allowed into the world | An open building session |
| X-linked players | Players who completed the game’s X account step | A shared build with account-linked participants |
| Only me | The owner | Showing visitors a build |
These are Creative building permissions, not a promise that a world is private. Choose a setting that matches the session you want to host. If a visitor can walk around but cannot place blocks, inspect this setting before diagnosing a browser issue.
Keep your world and identity easy to find
Bookmark the world link and use Save your progress in the original game if you want to link your X identity. In the multiplayer list, My worlds is based on worlds recorded in the current browser, so keep the link somewhere you can find outside that list too.
If the game reports that your X account signed in elsewhere, it may turn the current session back into guest play. Check which browser or device you are using before assuming that the world itself has disappeared.
For a guest-only first session, choose a world whose mode and building permissions allow the activity you want. Hardcore guests are spectators; see the mode comparison.
